The program primarily focuses on theoretical and practical courses related to the art of painting. Through the elective courses offered in the program, students are provided with the necessary knowledge in the fields of Art History, Art Theory, and Art Criticism. |

Graduates of the Faculties of Fine Arts in Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, and Photography; Visual Arts; Integrated Arts; or Plastic Arts, as well as graduates of Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Art, Visual Arts, Integrated Arts, Plastic Arts, Plastic Arts and Painting, Painting and Printmaking, Visual Communication Design, Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design, Photography, and Photography and Video departments of the Faculties of “Art and Design,” “Art, Design and Architecture,” “Fine Arts and Design,” “Fine Arts, Design and Architecture,” and “Art and Social Sciences” may apply. Note: Applications from candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be accepted. |

Exam: Written Exam 40% Portfolio 60% |
Scientific Examination: Written (40%) + Portfolio (60%) Written Exam: Portfolio: A printed color portfolio including the candidate’s CV, artist statement, at least 15 works, and identification details. Note: After the written exam, the candidate must submit the portfolio and at least three (3) original works. The portfolio will not be returned as it is an official examination document. Original works will be returned after evaluation. Fields Covered in the Examination: A written examination assessing the candidate’s knowledge of the history, contemporary practices, and theoretical discussions of the applied field, as well as their ability to articulate this knowledge within a given time frame. (Plastic Arts, Visual Culture History, Art History, Art Theory and Criticism, Art Terminology, Contemporary Art Theories) Final Evaluation Score: Scientific Examination (50%) + Cumulative Grade Point Average (50%) Note: Candidates must bring a BLUE ballpoint pen for the written exam. |
