PROFILE OF THE PROGRAM

Performing Arts Doctorate aims to maintain an education program which involves the to train intellectual, creative, innovative and productive performing arts theorists, critics, playwrights and dramaturgs for dramatic repertoire covering writing for stage, screen, radio and commercials, along with basic qualification principles and necessary lectures on theory of acting on stage, also to qualify art directors scenery, costume, lightining and make-up designers besides puppetry. Beside the department s selective courses generally focusing on performing arts and dramaturgy subjects, students have right to choose a course from the courses thought by the institute of fine arts other main art branches programmes within least total obligatory credit on a subject of their interest, taking approval of the head of the department, within the doctorate study time.
