MASTER’S PROGRAM

About the Program

This program is structured within an aesthetic and theoretical educational framework. Traditional and contemporary photographic techniques are examined within their historical context through both theoretical and practical courses. In addition to providing comprehensive education in photography, the program aims to foster an interdisciplinary approach by supporting photographic training with elective courses from various fields of art.

Official Transcript (obtained via E-Government system) (in Turkish)

(To be submitted on the examination day)

ALES Certificate (Verbal Score: minimum 55)

 

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from one of the following fields:

  • Photography or Graphic Arts Departments of Faculties of Fine Arts

  • Relevant Departments of Faculties of Art and Design or Faculties of Architecture (Graphic Arts)

  • Departments or Major Art Branches affiliated with Faculties of Communication

  • Departments affiliated with Faculties of Communication Sciences

  • Art Teaching (Painting-Work Education), Painting, and Graphic Departments of Faculties of Education

  • Art History, Philosophy, Sociology, Museology, Archaeology, History, Psychology, Culture and Natural Heritage Departments of Faculties of Science and Letters

Note: Applications from candidates whose academic background does not meet the specified eligibility criteria will not be considered.

Written Examination: 50%

Portfolio Evaluation: 30%

Interview: 20%

Final Success Score: Scientific Examination (25%) + Undergraduate GPA ( 25%) + ALES Score (50%)

Note: Candidates must bring a blue ballpoint pen for use during the written examination.
