About the Program

The program provides students who wish to specialize in the fields of industrial and artistic ceramics with the opportunity to develop and express their competencies. It also offers guidance toward a comparative understanding of art.

  • Ceramics

  • Glass

  • Industrial Design

  • Interior Architecture

  • Architecture

  • Painting

  • Sculpture

  • Archaeology

  • Art History

  • Traditional Arts (Tile / Çini Major Art Department)

  • Ceramic Engineering programs of Faculties of Engineering

  • Plastic Arts departments

Note: Applicants coming from fields other than Ceramics, Glass, and Tile (Çini) who are admitted to the program must complete one year of scientific preparatory education. Applications from candidates whose educational background does not meet the student source requirements will not be accepted.

Examination

Portfolio % 70

Written Exam % 30 

Scientific Examination: Portfolio (70%) + Written Exam (30%)

Portfolio: Submitting a portfolio is mandatory for the examination. The portfolio must include works and activities produced by the candidate during their undergraduate education and through independent practice. Since submitted portfolios are considered examination documents, they will not be returned.

Written Exam: The written examination consists of questions requiring qualified responses related to the field and/or questions concerning the thesis, project, or research topics the candidate wishes to pursue during their master’s education.

Final Evaluation Score: Scientific Examination (50%) + Cumulative Grade Point Average (50%)
