About the Program

The program aims to train intellectual, creative, and productive performing arts theorists, critics, playwrights, artistic directors, and related professionals by offering the necessary courses that establish fundamental principles of stage acting theory and support the creation of dramatic repertoires encompassing stage, screen, radio, and advertising.

Graduates of the following programs may apply:

• Departments of Performing Arts and Stage Design and Costume of Faculties of Fine Arts

• Departments of Theatre and Acting, Dramatic Writing, and Theory within the Faculties of Language, History and Geography (DTCF) and Faculties of Music and Performing Arts

• Departments of Theatre, Opera, Ballet, and Folk Dance of Conservatories

• Departments of Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy, Turkish Language, Philology, Folklore, Sociology, Art History, Philosophy, and Psychology of Faculties of Letters

Note: Applications from candidates whose educational background does not meet the student source requirements will not be accepted.

Examination:

Written Exam %70

Interview %30

Scientific Examination: Written Exam (70%) + Interview (30%)

Written Exam: A written examination will be conducted to assess theoretical and practical knowledge related to the field.

Interview: Candidates will be examined for 30 minutes based on their written exam paper, the field they wish to research, and their historical and contemporary knowledge of the performing arts.

Başarı Puanı: Bilim Sınavı(%50)+Genel Not Ort.(%50)

Note: Candidates must bring a BLUE ballpoint pen for use in the written examination.
