About the Program

The Major Art Department of Performing Arts aims to train creative, intellectual, innovative, and productive performing arts theorists, critics, playwrights and theorists; performers; stage, costume, and lighting designers; artistic directors; as well as makeup and puppet designers at the postgraduate level, within the framework of fundamental competencies.

 Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Diplomas (in Turkish)

Official Transcript (in Turkish)

Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (minimum score: 55)

(to be submitted on the exam day)  

 

Applicants who have completed thesis-based undergraduate and master’s degrees in Performing Arts and Theatre Departments.

Note: Applications from candidates whose educational background does not meet the student source requirements will not be accepted.

Examination:

 

Written Exam %70

Interview %30

 

Scientific Examination: Written Exam (70%) + Interview (30%)

Written Exam: A written examination will be conducted to assess theoretical and practical knowledge related to the field. 

Interview: Candidates will be examined for 30 minutes based on their written exam paper, the field they intend to research, and their historical and contemporary knowledge of performing arts.

Final Evaluation Score: Scientific Examination (50%) + Cumulative Grade Point Average (50%)

Note: Candidates must bring a BLUE ballpoint pen for use in the written examination.
